Learn, explore and apply at our first ever Jobs Fair! 

We're connecting people in the local community with work opportunities in Roselands. Job seekers looking to put their best foot forward will have the chance to connect with more than 15 of Roselands Retailers.

There will be full-time, part-time and casual opportunities with a range of Retailers, service providers, hospitality and local food businesses. There will also be the opportunity to meet with support services for recruitment, training and education offered via Wise Employment Recruitment Agency, Disability Services Australia and TAFE NSW. Plus, Dress for Success will be attending to share advice with job seekers on how to dress the part for future interviews.

  • 11am - 2pm Jobs Fair
    • Meet with potential employers

Services: 

  • St George Bank - High schoolers, young adults or tertiary students looking for an everyday account? Or needing education on how to open a new account for a new job, learn how to manage your money and require financial independance? Representatives from St George Bank in Roselands will share with you clever ways to manage your new or existing account to ensure your future is in good hands. 

  • Wise Employment Recruitment Agency - Wise Employment will be on site offering a range of specialist job seeker programs and services they have available including; preparing our job seekers for interviews, assistance with Resumes, assistance with interskills training, help people living with mental illness prepare for the world of work, help young parents prepare for going back to work, encourage employers to host internship placements for the youth and job searching skills. 

  • Disability Services Australia - Assisting people with a disability who want to work to take that next step onto the pathway to employment. Services on the day include; helping young people develop skills, experience and qualifications they need to transition to work. Offering personalised work support for job seekers with open employment goals and a resume writing service. 

  • Dress for Success - A registered charity that improves the employability of women in need by providing, free of charge, professional clothing, a network of support and career development tools to help women achieve self - sufficiency when returning to the work-force. On the day, DRS will provide upcoming workshop dates and locations as well as assist women and young adults prepare for their interviews. 

  • Metro Assist (Dress for Work) - A free service that provides professional business attire to men who are unable to afford quality clothing. Other services include teaching the youth how to run businesses including running The Diversity Cafe once a week, learning how to be a barista. SkillME is an imitative for migrants to have their overseas skills and qualifications recognised in Australia. Visit their booth for many more services they provide. 

  • TAFE NSW & RETAIL - Providing education and training for those new to the employment world or looking back to getting in to the work-force.
